DESCRIPTION
This course briefly reviews the basics of power supply decoupling, then discusses the challenges imposed by high-density chip packages and describes a good solution: 3-pin SMD feed-through capacitors. Subsequently, the discussion shows various examples in which the effectiveness of noise reduction techniques is evaluated, and describes the iterative method recommended for implementing noise countermeasures.
