| Uplink Power Control in LTE |
|
Overview:
This webcast will provide an explanation on how power control for the uplink works in LTE for the different types of physical signals and channels (PUSCH, PUCCH, SRS). Further the differences to 3G (WCDMA) are discussed as well as methods and ways of testing uplink power control to ensure that the LTE capable UE behaves correctly.
What you will learn:
- Exactly how uplink power control works in LTE
- What the major differences are in comparison to 3G (WCDMA)
- How to test and measure uplink power control
Duration: 40 minutes + live Q&A
Who should attend:
Engineers and Technicians who are involved in R&D of chipsets, UEs, or eNodeBs for LTE
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge in LTE is beneficial, as well as a general understanding of how power control usually works in different technologies
Presenter:
Andreas Roessler graduated at Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany holds a master degree in communication engineering. He joined Rohde & Schwarz in July 2008 as Technology Manager dedicated to North America with focus on UMTS LTE. Beforehand he was working as a product manager for Willtek Communications GmbH, responsible for a radio communication test set, supporting RF testing of various cellular technologies.
