TI's SWIFT step-down DC/DC converters for point-of-load designs are highly efficient power management ICs, which come in a monolithic package. SWIFT regulators, also known as switchers with integrated FETs, integrate several key active components: low Rds(on) resistance power MOSFETs, MOSFET drivers, pulse width modulation comparator and an error amplifier. TI's SWIFT devices are designed for performance, flexibility and ease of use. They serve a broad range of applications, such as telecom, computing, industrial and consumer point of load applications with input voltage ranges as wide as 65 V and output currents as high as 14 A.
