ARM and Magma Design Automation

This paper describes the latest generation of ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore Multicore processor and the high quality, highly reusable RTL-to-GDS implementation reference methodology (iRM) developed for the Cortex-A9 by ARM and Magma Design Automation. The fully automated Magma Talus integrated circuit (IC) implementation platform-based iRM is easily ported across multiple process technologies and produces industry-leading power, performance and area metrics when deployed in real customer System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designs.
