DESCRIPTION
This course reviews asynchronous, brushless DC and low voltage DC systems. We demonstrate thermal calculations for a low voltage DC application and review the design of a frequency inverter. The issues of optoisolation are also discussed including the power supply circuit needed for the inverter, covering AC/DC and PFC considerations.
