Overview:
With the rapidly growing demand for increased data rates, operators are forced to quickly upgrade their networks to support advanced wireless standards including: HSPA+, LTE and LTE-Advanced.

Traditionally, operators built their wireless networks around conventional Macro base stations architectures. In order to deliver a high quality mobile broadband service operators are now deploying Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) architectures based on wide range of cells from Small-Cells (Pico, Metro, Micro) all the way up to Macro base stations and Cloud-RAN.

This evolving base station topology forces substantial challenge upon equipment manufactures to offer wireless broadband devices offering ease of scalability, varying use cases support and high sensitivity to cost and power consumption. Modern Wireless solutions are now built using advanced multi-core architectures delivering the required performance at an economic manner.

This webinar will offer a fresh approach for designing advanced wireless solutions targeting the various network equipment devices.

Eyal Bergman, VP of Product Marketing, CEVA
Eyal Bergman serves as a VP of Product Marketing for CEVA. In his role, he is responsible for all Marketing aspects related to CEVA's Communication products. Prior to this, Mr. Bergman was the Application Solutions Department Manager at CEVA. Mr. Bergman has worked for CEVA & DSP Group since 2000, and held several development and managerial R&D positions. Mr. Bergman holds MSc & BSc degrees in computer sciences from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.

Alon Yaakov, DSP Architecture Manager, CEVA
Alon Yaakov is Manager of Processor and Core Architectures at CEVA. In his role, he is responsible for defining and leading the architecture of current and next generation communication products. Before joining CEVA, Mr. Yaakov held both management and development positions in several startups. He has 16 years of experience in architecture, systems, ASIC design and algorithm development in a broad range of applications, including wired and wireless communications, video & image processing, Flash controllers, and robotics. Mr. Yaakov holds both M.A.Sc. & B.A.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is an author or co-author of more than 10 patents.
