This webinar is for embedded design engineers who want to find out more about the Intel® Atom™ processor family. It will focus on the Intel® Atom™ processor E6xx series and highlight the differences and similarities between this embedded processor and the various Intel® Atom™ processors available for the netbook, tablet PC and digital home markets. The start of the course will comprise of an overview of the embedded Intel® Atom™ processor offerings with specific cases of where customers have used these processors in their applications and will close with a demonstration of some of the features available on edc.intel.com website.

Stewart Christie,Product Marketing Engineer, Low-power Embedded Product Division, IntelStewart started his career developing hardware and software for embedded projects ranging from Dishwasher Controls to Space Station Motor Drive's. When looking for new challenges different than development, he helped run an embedded software tools company. Since moving to Intel 11 years ago, Stewart has continued his involvement with all things embedded, and has worked with Intel's software tools ecosystem and was responsible for JTAG enabling, RTOS porting, and Compilers and Debuggers. Vasanth Nanjundeswaran, Platforms Applications Engineer, Low-power Embedded Product Division, IntelVasanth is a Platforms Applications Engineer in Intel Low-power Embedded Product Division (LEPD) and is responsible for the In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI) platforms in the Embedded and Communications Group (ECG). He has 9 years of experience at Intel Corporation and prior to his current role; Vasanth was a Design Engineer in the Mobile and Desktop Chipsets and Graphics team and was responsible for the successful tape-out and release of multiple generations of Intel Chipsets. He was also a Product Development engineer in the Quality & Reliability Engineering team, responsible for the integration of various Intel® Atom™ processor SoCs in ECG.

I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 and it plays fine for me.
