More InfoLess Info
Noise suppressors are wirewound resistors which are specially designed to be implemented in automotive ignition systems to reduce radio frequency interference (RFI) caused by electrical discharges. The resistors can be placed in the rotor of the distributor, the spark plug leads, as well as in the spark plug caps itself. This application note will explore key specifications of the devices.
