In the summer of 2010, a student team set out to test the Remote Direct Memory Access over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) standard. The team's objective was to better understand performance for hardware RoCE, and how this compares with software-based RoCE, InfiniBand and Ethernet with no Remote Direct Memory Access.
