This paper gives an overview of Embest DevKit8500D evaluation kit which is based on TI's DM3730 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 DaVinci Digital Media Processor. The DevKit8500D main board has 512MByte DDR SDRAM and 512MByte NAND Flash, as well as a reserved iNAND design to expand the flash storage capabilities. It has also exposed many other hardware interfaces including serial ports, LCD/TSP, DVI-D, S-Video, Ethernet, USB, TF, keyboard, camera, SPI, I2C and JTAG. It offers supports for Linux2.6.32, Android2.2 and WinCE6.0 OS. The whole DevKit8500D kit includes the DevKit8500D main board and all necessary accessories to help users start their own applications.

I have a Devkit8500D in hand and it indeed works well. I am trying to build my product on it as the performance seems so stable.
