This technical paper is a follow on to the DirectX 10 Architecture technical paper from S3 Graphics. In this paper, we review the new additions to the Microsoft DirectX graphics architecture specification supporting the latest version 10.1. Features such as improved anti-aliasing and image/texture improvements will be described to show the visual benefits and how developers can use the DirectX API to enhance their product offerings.
