Connecting to and Analyzing FlexRay Networks

Time triggered systems such as FlexRay require prior planning of all communication parameters that define which messages should be sent and received by the nodes and at what time. For analysis and test systems, different configurations are necessary depending on the task in the network and the analysis of the nodes. This paper presents a system for analysis and virtual bus simulation of FlexRay networks in conjunction with the fieldbus exchange format FIBEX as standardized in ASAM.
